Once Upon a Time I had a Café in Hanoi

What you can learn about business & life by running a small café

.

When I was in primary school, I wanted to study hospitality. But my family forbade it. So, I went to grammar school, got a university degree, and started working. However, over time, I began to miss travelling in my day-to-day life. So, I decided to pack my life into two backpacks and, with a one-way ticket, headed to Hanoi, where, after a few years, I eventually opened my own business.

How it all happened, what it taught me, and the lessons anyone can learn from it if they want to take a similar path, are summarised in my first book Once Upon a Time in Hanoi. It contains over 40 life and business lessons that I earned through sweat and blood (unfortunately, this time not just metaphorically but literally).

If this has caught your interest, stay tuned. The book is almost finished, and we plan to release it in autumn 2024.

In the meantime, you can join me on a trip to Asia or follow me on social media. I look forward to it!
